A perforation is a small hole in a thin material or web. There is usually more than one perforation in an organized fashion, where all of the holes are called a perforation. The process of creating perforations is called perforating, which involves puncturing the workpiece with a tool.
Perforating machine is a process that creates a line of tiny holes in the paper or card. These holes act to create a join-point in the paper, strong enough to hold the material together but weak enough, so that should a deliberate pulling pressure be applied, the material will separate in a clean straight cut. Typical applications for perforating included, tear off cheques, vouchers etc.
Perforators are perfect for making in-house coupons, tear-outs and more. The perforating wheel punches a line of holes making any document easy to tear out. Paper scorers easily crease paper, making it easy to fold or bend. Paper scorers are ideal for making cards, table tents and more.

Text Perforating Machines
Depending on the model, text perforating machines allow you to perforate fixed or interchangeable texts.
You can choose between the following models: PERFOSET I/T/II/T (manually operated); OFFICE T, PERFOSET E/T/ES/T (electrical machines)
PERNUMA PERFOSET I/T, II/T Hand-operated Text Perforating Machines suitable for cancelling or marking forms, trade samples, labels, films or plastic cards, for securing original documents or for decorating letters by a company logo.
PERNUMA Office T, Perfoset T Electric Text Perforating Machines is manufactured with a fixed text of your choice.
Date Perforating Machines
These machines enable you to perforate either the date or a combination of date and an additional text resp. a combination of numbers.
The following models allow for the date to be changed via small metal slides:
PERFOSET I/D, PERFOSET II/D (manually operated); OFFICE D, PERFOSET E/D/ES/D (electrical version)
To set the daily date even more comfortably, you can choose between the following wheel machines:
PERFOSTAR I/D, PERFOSTAR II/D (manually operated); PERFOSTAR E/D, PERFOSTAR ES/D
Hand-operated Date Perforating Machine suitable for marking forms, labels, films or packagings by a date or by changeable letter and/or number combinations.
The machines are supplied with 18 figure slides for a 6 digits date in their standard version. These so-called slides are small metal sticks which can very fast and easily be inserted into/respectively pulled out of the machine from the front of it. There are two hand-operated machines in our manufacturing programme which is PERNUMA PERFOSET I/D and PERNUMA PERFOSET II/D
